The hub island

Between shows you hang out on Jellybean Isle, an island about 115 m across, shared with everyone in your hub (around 50 beans). Everything here is there to play with, and two spots matter most: the Show Gate, where shows start, and the market corner, where you shop and change your look.

You arrive in one of six spawn meadows: Meadow, Lakeside, West Lawn, Pirate Beach, North Shore or East Lawn. The game prefers the emptier ones, so you rarely land in a crowd. If you fall in the sea, you come back at the meadow nearest to where you fell.

Every meadow has a signpost with two arrows:

  • purple SHOWS points to the Show Gate,
  • pink SHOP points to the market corner.

Big labels float over the important places, so you can spot them from across the island.

A lilac plaza north-east of the middle of the island, with the portals into shows:

  • Race show and Survival show arches. Both put you in the same show queue (each show mixes races, survival and team rounds anyway), so pick either. A floating counter shows how many beans have joined and when the show starts, for example “7/24 joined · starts in 6s”.
  • The Premium Show portal: a golden arch on a raised platform at the back, between two purple obelisks. It opens the Premium Portal screen instead of queuing you (live at token launch).

When you walk into a portal there is a short grace moment, so brushing past one by accident does not throw you into a show.

A sunny square west of the middle of the island:

  • The big SHOP stall. Walk up to it to open the shop.
  • The locker mirror. Walk up to it to change your look.
  • The Events board. Walk up to it to see the hub events and, after the token launch, start one yourself.

A giant layer cake on its own islet to the north, reached by a rope bridge.

  • Walk the switchback biscuit paths, or take the shortcut: the climbing net on the cliff face goes up to the 8 m ledge.
  • A trampoline near the top bounces you towards the summit. The summit is the King of Candy Hill zone during events.
  • Ride the icing slide down the back, or the summit zipline back towards the middle of the island.
  • A rubber chicken waits on the summit.

Candy Mountain

The highest point of the hub: a floating cake 26 m up in the west, with the golden crowned-bean trophy on top. Touching the trophy counts for challenges and wins the Trophy Race event.

Two ways up:

  1. The spiral: twelve floating platforms wind around a candy tower, with spring pads on the big steps. One slip and you start over.
  2. The sky cannon: find the cannon on the west side of the main island. It fires you straight up to the trophy.

Take the zipline to get back down. The squeaky hammer lives up here.

In the east: climb the ladder into the treehouse and take the slide down, bounce on the two seesaws, run in the hamster wheel, and try the three swings. A pool noodle and a plunger lie around.

A shipwreck in the sea to the south-west, near Pirate Beach. Swim out (mind your breath), climb the boarding ladder, then the mast ladder to the crow’s nest 8 m up. There is a fish on board.

Lily pads, a jetty, a rolling log and a buoy ring to float in, next to Lakeside meadow. A good place to practise swimming, or to roll a hamster ball across the water.

  • The central plaza: sand, trampolines and beach balls in the middle of the island.
  • Tower Slide: a 7 m ladder up a striped tower, then a spiral ice slide down.
  • Hills and plateaus: the north-east hill has a ramp and a trampoline on top (and one at its foot); the north-west plateau has a ramp, a ladder, an ice slide down to the lawn, and a floating-block climb to a spinning sky disc 12 m up.
  • Cannons: three more cannons fling you between the lawns, the north-east hill and the north-west plateau.
  • Bumper field, ice rink, slime puddle, merry-go-round, rolling mounds and a chain of bounce pads.
  • Practice dummies stand around for testing tackles and bonks. When the hub is quiet, a few wandering bots keep you company.
  • Vehicles: summon your jelly kart or hamster ball anywhere on the island.
