Hub events
Every 4 to 6 minutes (while people are on the island) the hub throws a party. An announcement card pops up with a 10-second countdown, then the event runs with a timer and a live top-5 leaderboard, and the results stay up for a few seconds at the end. Everyone in the hub can join in; you do not need to sign up.
After the token launch, players can also start an event themselves from the Events board in the market corner.

Beach Ball Rain
Section titled “Beach Ball Rain”Beach balls rain down on the plaza. Grab as many as you can: every ball you catch scores. Shoving other beans out of the way is very much allowed.
The Floor Is Lava
Section titled “The Floor Is Lava”The plaza floor turns into (friendly, candy) lava. Touch it and you get tossed out of the plaza. Climb, jump, perch on props, stand on your friends: every second you stay above the floor counts.
King of Candy Hill
Section titled “King of Candy Hill”The Candy Mountain summit lights up. Your score ticks up only while you are on it alone, so clear the others off. Grabbing, tackling and bonking are all fair.
Trophy Race
Section titled “Trophy Race”First bean to touch the golden trophy on Sky Island wins. Take the platform spiral or gamble on the sky cannon. See The hub island for both routes.
- Use the 10-second announcement to get into position.
- Only real players count on the leaderboard, not bots or dummies.
- In King of Candy Hill, a squeaky hammer brought up the mountain is a strong argument.
- Events are for bragging rights: winning does not pay coins or XP (yet).
