Fair play & rules

Solbeans is a game about bumping into each other. Grabbing, tackling, bonking with a rubber chicken and stealing eggs are all part of the fun. Here is what is not.

  1. No cheating. No modified clients, scripts, macros, speed hacks or automation.
  2. No exploiting bugs to win or to farm coins and XP. If you find one, tell us.
  3. Be nice with names. Offensive, hateful or impersonating names are blocked, and we may rename accounts that slip through.
  4. No harassment. Emotes and quick chat are for fun, not for targeting someone.
  5. One person, one account for challenges and leaderboards. Do not farm with multiple accounts or bots.
  6. Never share your wallet’s seed phrase. No one from the team will ask for it.

Breaking the rules can lead to a reset of progress, removal from leaderboards, or a ban.

  • The server decides. Every round runs on the game server, which simulates all beans 60 times per second. Your browser only sends inputs; who qualifies, who wins and what you earn are all decided on the server.
  • Results are counted once. Each show pays out once per account, and numbers outside what is possible are clipped.
  • Reward limits. Daily caps on coins and XP keep farming pointless, and very short shows do not pay.
  • Rate limits stop spam on the game’s API.

To keep queues short, shows are topped up with bots when there are not enough players, and a few practice dummies stand around the hub. Bots use the same physics and rules as everyone else.

In-game reporting is not ready yet. Until then, send bugs, cheaters and name problems to the team through the community channels listed in the site footer.
